Is “Project Wonderful” Really Wonderful? - April 29, 2008

Project Wonderful
is a new advertising network that quickly caught my eye right after I registered. My ad block wasn’t automatically approved. In fact, it takes 3-4 business days to get an approval. Most advertising networks approve anyone and everyone just to make a few extra bucks. In other words, they are after quantity and not quality. With that in mind, I believe it will pay dividends in the form of quality sites that you are advertising on.
For those of you who are familiar with advertising networks, registration is pretty basic. You sign up, add info such as your site name and url, then create your ad block. It works like this. You are able to create a number of different sized ads, ranging from a 117 x 30 button to a 160 x 600 skyscraper and everything in between. Once your ad block is approved and in place, potential advertisers get to bid on how much money they are prepared to pay per day to have their advert show in one of your slots. From then on every second that their ad is live, you are earning money. Only the top bidder (or enough top bidders to fill your slots) gets their ad shown.
You earnings are added to your account, which you can use to fund your own advertising, or you can withdrawal it through PayPal once you reach $10. I suggest leaving the money in your account and taking advantage of some very inexpensive advertising.
